Sheffield Futures

We at eatsleepthink have been involved with Sheffield Futures for a while now and over this time our relationship with them continues to get stronger and stronger. We feel that this is due to the quality of the nigh-on 50 jobs we have produced for them, as well as our commitment and passion for design no matter how big or small the job maybe. As the name suggests we eat, sleep and think about design constantly coming up with ways to improve our work, so that we keep the audience constantly captive. 

    Sheffield Futures are strongly involved with Get Connected, together they require a lot of brochures, leaflets and brochures designed. The work they do helps young people make choices for their future. Whether it be Year 9's choosing their GCSE options to College leavers looking at going to University, having a gap year, getting a full time job or an apprenticeship scheme. Therefore we have to constantly change our approach to keep the different audiences interested so they can make informed decisions about their own future. Thanks to our work with Sheffield Futures we are able influence not only each young individual but also what companies will be attracted to the local area in the future because of the skills young people in our area will have. This is a great feeling because eatsleepthink are passionate about giving young people the best opportunity to choose the right path for them.

    Shortly I will be posting some actual work we have produced for Sheffield Futures, giving my opinion on them from the point of view of a 18 year old looking at his own options. Looking forward to it!

Well done Get Connected!

Major congratulations go out to Get Connected today after an impressive Auction last night at Frankies in London. Over £213,000.00 was raised in ONE night. This will go towards raising the profile of this very worthwhile organisation whom we have been working with over the last two years, becoming a corporate member in August last year. An enjoyable evening was had by all of us, and we have to give a big 'up' to the guys at Radioville who's Lot had the most, and in turn the highest bid - Over £15k for the lucky bidder to write a love song, and record it in Radioville's studio! Looking forward to hearing the results guys and gals. But. the biggest 'up' must go out to all those folk who successfully bid for some fantastic lots, well done everyone and thanks!!!

eatsleepthink design all the material for Get Connected. Here's one of four posters we have created which are Young People facing and distributed around schools, universities and centres around the UK.

Get Connected is a charity that is very close to our hearts here in the eatsleepthink studio so it gives us a very warm glow to see such a huge figure raised in one night. If you have any spare cash to splash they'll be a further online auction coming up on the 7th March, watch this space, but if you are feeling that Friday feeling and have a pay packet burning a hole in the cloth click here and donate some of your beer money to this amazing charity. When you're helping young people to find help an extra £1 donated can go a very long way!
