Eatsleepthink recently entered the London Long Copy Competition in conjunction with our client Volunteering England. The London Long Copy Competition is to promote the use of Long Copy advertising in an age where advertising campaigns now use as little words as possible due the belief that you only get a split second to get your message across. The competition is free to enter and has two sections to it, a non profit entry or a commercially driven entry. As we have taken part in this through Volunteering England our advert will be in the not profit driven section. Naturally as this is a competition there is a prize that goes to the winning advert from the two categories. The winning adverts get £125,000 worth of cross track media space throughout central London, London shopping vouchers amounting to £1000, feature in a supplement of Campaign and showcase on a cross track 48 sheet at Oxford Circus Tube Station. if you wish to find out even more about the London long copy competition follow the link to the website for the competition www.londonlongcopy.com.
If you have viewed any of our previous work for Volunteering England you will see that with this Long Copy Ad we have maintained the guidelines set out by ourselves and VE for brochures and all other documents produced. I can see the really vibrant VE orange looking great in the underground it will really make the station much more colourful and interesting. The copy featured in the ad is not of Volunteering England talking about themselves they are quotes from people who have Volunteered for them which brings in the factor of the people of London. The caption love London, live to volunteer was also a brilliant line to sum up the message Volunteering England were making through the long copy. We find out on the 3rd November who has won the competition so fingers crossed for us!
Please let us know what you think to our long copy advert produced in conjunction with Volunteering England.
