Mike, being a regular on the 2000AD Message Board has started entering the monthly art competitions that appear on there.
January's entry: Big Robots. This is a Steam Punk Robot circa 1901
Here's February's and January's entries. In Jan, he came second and the competitions still open for Feb. The January competition theme was 'Big Robots' the February one is 'Set the controls for the heart of the sun' (Pink Floyd fans will appreciate this one).
Mike's being reading 2000AD since he was seven and has been a huge Sci-Fi fan for years. Expect to see a few more of these turn up over the coming months, and if you used to read 2000AD and have lapsed (kids, mortgage, growing-up and getting old is not an excuse) get hold of a few copies, it's a stonking good read!
